Avantalytics strives to create the most sales knowledge and analysis for your sales organization with the least complexity of setup, maintenance and use. Our system is designed to provide our customers with unique total market insights by combining external data sources that we collect and organize with your sales information in a way that is simple to administer and requires no IT integration or support.

At Avantalytics, we take a modular approach to our service offerings allowing you to reap maximum benefit and affordability through any service individually or through any combination of services without additional complexity and/or integration hassles. Unlike other systems and solutions that look to become tightly coupled with your internal corporate ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and BI (Business Intelligence) systems, our experience has led us in the opposite direction.

We have found that in nearly every situation, heavily integrated solutions have drastically longer configuration times, higher maintenance fees and service contracts, and promote "lock-in"; all leading to a solution costing demonstrably more.

In contrast, our systems are designed to rely on as few contingent data streams (as few as one!) as possible. We then augment this minimal set of data with our rich proprietary data sources that we house to provide for real-time analytics and insight your business needs without tangling our systems within yours.

Put simply, with a single daily or weekly upload you can turn a single report into an entire multi-user analysis platform combining rich external data with your sales to gain meaningful insights. No hardware capital expense, no additional staffing, no data storage/backup or disaster recovery plans, no integration complications, no IT hassles, no corporate roadblocks, no hidden costs. We call this is our "No-IT" strategy.

Rich Data

Simply Integrated.


Unlike Business Intelligence systems that aim to capture and present your internal data and are often included in your ERP, we focus on external sources to supplement your BI analysis capabilities to monitor existing trends from the outside and alert you to emerging trends that cannot be seen by any amount of internal data mining.

From things such as fine-grain locational weather data and demographics, to gas prices and quarterly loan data and housing price indexes. We also monitor pricing, promotions and category shift across retailers and regions continuously over time.

We also offer the ability to utilize your field sales' knowledge by plugging them and their activities and knowledge back into your business, empowering them to make more impact while promoting accountability in the workforce.

Data Sources

Simplicity First.


All you need is an EDI 852 Product Activity Report from your retailer(s) or even a CSV file of sales. Uploading the data is as simple as uploading a picture to a website.

Our systems are designed to immediately plug this data into our existing external data streams so you can be up-and-running - from simple reporting to rich analysis without integration headaches!

If you're a smaller supplier without an EDI department and currently receiving your EDI purchase and invoice data via email or web service, simply request to get your 852 file from your provider and upload it to our site - we'll handle the rest!

If you're not and EDI enabled supplier, that's ok too. Flat files of sales can quickly be turned into an entire reporting and analysis solution for your business.

Real "Cloud" Benefits.


"The Cloud" is one of the hottest topics in IT currently. Put simply, it is a disruptive innovation that threatens every existing IT service provider, and what we feel will be the end of the 80% of corporate data centers over the IT purchasing lifecycle. Unfortunately, every existing data center player, from software companies to consultants are jockeying to protect their current slice of the IT "pie" with technology lock-in and integration and data security scare tactics.

Not here at Avantalytics. Our aim is to embrace this change and use it to drive out cost for all of us. We use it to turn high fixed IT capital costs into variable costs and eliminate mandatory data center maintenance and employee costs. We use it increase data redundancy and security while providing scalability (both up and down, and in and out) as a transparent feature. We don't just "talk the talk" - we use the cloud to drastically limit our own costs while increasing availability and safety of data (see how we do it here). To this end, instead of paying people to purchase racks, servers, swap out dead harddrives, upgrade memory, etc.. we use the savings to employ programmers and data researchers to leverage the cloud as a disruptive technology and deploy services that help bring better insights to your business.
